Andy Warhol
Andy Warhol (Andrew Warhola) was an actor, used in the Art scene, to push the gay-transgender agenda, normalise the use of cocain and heroin and to popularise Pop Art, the doctrine of Pop Culture. He was educated at Carnegie Mellon University. His most famous works are the dyptich of mind controlled sex slave Marilyn Monroe (different twin alters of MPD) and Campbell Soup Cans (both in 1962, moral crisis of nihilism, announced by Friedrich Nietzsche). |
His mother was Austrian-Hungarian (Bohemia) and died 11/22 like JFK. In 1949 he moved to New York. He worked for Glamour magazine of jesuit Condé Nast and designed album covers for RCA Records and Harper's Bazaar of Hearst. His first boyfriend was Edward Wallowitch of the Greenwich Village scene.
His Marilyn Dyptich was exhibited in the Ferus Gallery in LA (Cienega Boulevard, home of Hearst media A&E, History Channel, close to Sunset Strip of Laurel Canyon), founded by Edward Kienholz (Beat poets with Allen Ginsberg, friend of Michael Bowen, the organiser of the Human Be-In in San Francisco).
He was a friend of John Cage.
He managed the Velvet Underground with John Cale and Lou Reed (later worked with David Bowie), Sterling Morrison (CCNY) and Nico (friend of Bob Dylan and Laurel Canyon singer Jim Morrison). Their debut album was released in 1964 by Verve Records (label of Laurel Canyon artist Frank Zappa). Like Crowley, they promoted the use of heroin.
Warhol announced the religion of fame (Crowley's motto Every man and woman is a star). He made paintings and prints of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Judy Garland, Brigitte Bardot and founded the Factory (Madonna, JM Basquiat, William Burroughs, Anita Pallenberg, Mick Jagger, Bod Dylan, Ultra Violet). Ultra Violet was the muse of Salvador Dali and member of the Mormon Church. He was active in the underground film scene with Kenneth Anger, Jonas Mekas (The New School) and George Kuchar (teacher of Courtney Love).
He worked with Donyale Luna (who died of a heroin overdose in 1979).
In 1966 he made Chelsea Girls at the Chelsea Hotel with Brigid Berlin (daughter of Richard Berlin, chairman of Hearst, friend of Patricia Hearst) and Nico and Since about the JFK ritual with actors of The Factory.
The same year, he was present at the Truman Capote Black and White ball in NY in 1966 with Katherine Graham, Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, Candice Bergen wearing a rabbit mask (Alice in Wonderland programming), Ladybird Johnson, Harry Belafonte, Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, Gloria Vanderbilt, Lauren Bacall, Prince Stanislas and Princess Lee Radziwill (sister of Jackie Kennedy), Philip Johnson, Brooke Astor, Babe Paley.
He pushed the transgender agenda with Candy Darling, Holly Woodlawn and Jackie Curtis. Candy Darling played in Klute with Jane Fonda, Donald Sutherland and Sylvester Stallone.
On 6/3/1968 he was shot by feminist Valerie Solanas (resident of Chelsea Hotel), 3 days before the murder of Robert Kennedy.
In the 70's he worked with the Iranian Pahlavi (Pallavicini) family. He helped to promote the use of cocain in the Studio 54 scene with Debbie Harry, Truman Capote, Michael Jackson, Bianca Jagger. Fab Five Freddy used his soup cans design in graffiti on trains (program Hip Hop).
Oliver Stone's The Doors (1991) has a scene in which Jim Morrison (played by Val Kilmer) meets Warhol (played by Cristin Glover) and Nico.
David Bowie played Warhol in Basquiat (1996) with Jeffrey Wright, Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper, Courtney Love (Kurt Cobain who died age 27 like Basquiat), produced by Peter Brant. Peter Brant also produced the PBS documentary Warhol A Documentary, narrated by Laurie Anderson, wife of Lou Reed (worked with Andy Kaufman, Frank Zappa, Leary, Allen Ginsberg).
Jared Harris played Warhol in I Shot Andy Warhol (1996) with Lily Taylor, Stephen Dorff and Justin Theroux
Guy Pearce played Warhol in Factory Girl (2006) with Siena Miller as Edie Sedgewick.
