Fire
Fire is the process of combustion (burning) of a fuel in contact with oxygen or other oxidizing agent, releasing (freeing) energy as light, heat and smoke. Flames contain carbon dioxide, nitrogen. Fire is male phallic, solar, electric energy upward pyramid in opposition with water (female, magnetic, downward), duality of red and blue, yin and yang, Osiris and Isis. Astrologically it is associated with Mars planet of war (fire is used in the war industry). For the ancients (Aristotle) fire was one of the 4 elements fire (will), water (emotion), air (intellect), earth (physical body).
