George Estabrooks
George Estabrooks was a Canadian-American hypnotist and psychiatrist (the Mental Health Industry) who played a role in the history of mind control. He was educated at Harvard and worked at Colgate University in Hamilton NY. He participated in CIA mind control project MK Ultra, started in 1953, that expanded on the research of Project Bluebird (experiments on traumatized soldiers of the Korean War) and Project Artichoke. In 1947 he wrote Spiritism. In 1957 he wrote Hypnotism. He was a 32nd degree Knight Templar Mason. He is mentioned in Walter Bowart's Operation Mind Control. | ![]() |
In 1960 he invited Martin Orme to Colgate University, before his visit to Syndney.
