| John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was a British MI6 propaganda writer who wrote Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, based on Norse mythology (like Richard Wagner's Ring cycle). He was a soldier in the WW1 ritual. He was educated at Exter College Oxford and a member of The Inklings Group with CS Lewis and David Cecil (Le Rosey, League of Nations/UN Saturnian world empire). He wrote The Lord of the Rings from 1937 to 1949. Frodo represents the Fool, the child Horus in Crowley's Aeon of Horus. The wizard Gandalf represents the Magician, Cecil agent John Dee who saw himself as incarnation of Atlantean druid Merlin. His wife Edith Bratt was the inspiration for Arwen Undomiel. It was published by Allen & Unwin.
He was a friend of CS Lewis (Chronicles of Narnia), who died on 11/23/1963 like JFK and Aldous Huxley.
His son John Francis, also a member of the Inklings Group, was educated at the Dragon School.
He was awarded the Gandalf Grand Master Award, created by Lyon Sprague du Camp.
In 1978 the first Lord of the Rings film version was released with John Hurt as Aragon, Philip Stone as Theoden.
In 2001 Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings was released with Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, Cate Blanchett, Christopher Lee, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving, Liv Tyler, Sean Bean, Orlando Bloom.
He was made a member of the Order of the British Empire by Elizabeth II.
