Las Vegas

Las Vegas (the meadows) is a city in the state Nevada of the US, founded in 1905 to recreate Babylon, known for its gambling industry (casino's centered on Fremont Street, connected to the sport industry). It was named after the star Vega (Lyra constellation, in ancient Egypt the north star).

It has a population of 641.000 people.

History of Las Vegas

1855 members of the Mormon Church build a fort in Las Vegas.

1906 opening of the Nevada Hotel (later Golden Gate Hotel).

1930 Mormons make up 10% of the population.

1931 opening of the Northern Club (La Bayou), casino's of Benny Binion. start of construction of the Hoover Dam.

Jewish mafia figures Bugsey Siegel and Meyer Lansky play a role in the building of the Flamingo Hotel (pink: Venus, pink flamingo used in Alice in Wonderland programming).

1946 Jack Parsons' Babalon Workings in Mojave desert (the desert is a symbol of going through the Abyss). Famous meeting of Meyer Lansky with Charles Luciano in Havana Cuba.

1947 Bugsey Siegel is shot.

1951 nuclear tests at Nevada Test Site. Benny Binion (Dallas mafia) opens Binion's Horseshoe.

1952 Milton Pirell (friend of Elvis Presley's manager) opens the Sahara hotel-casino, funded by Mormon Edward Parry Thomas and Jerome D Mack (Bank of Las Vegas). Thomas mentors Steve Wynn (Sigma Alpha Mu).

1958 Judy Garland performs at the Flamingo.

1960 Ocean's Eleven Frank Sinatra Sammy Davis Jr.

1962 Kirk Kerkorian buys land at the Las Vegas Strip, used to build Caesars Palace. With Martin Stern Jr he transforms Las Vegas in a high-rise metropolis.

1963 Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles (mind controlled with heroin) perform at the Flamingo.

1964 MGM movie Viva Las Vegas with Elvis Presley. Jayne Mansfield Jayne Busts Up Las Vegas. The city is built on the philosophy of postmodernism (imitation, irony, homage, simulation).

1966 opening of Caesar's Palace (Jay Sarno, Colonna=Julius Caesar bloodline).

1967 James Brown and Little Richard at the Flamingo's. Frank Sinatra at Caesar's Palace.

1968 Howard Hughes moves into the Desert Inn of Steve Wynn.

He hires Mormon Frank 'Bill' Gay (BSA).

Kirk Kerkorian buys the Flamingo Hotel (associated with Bugsey Siegel and Meyer Lanski, Judy Garland, later Flamingo Hilton), with Alex Shoofy (Sahara Hotels) as president.

1969 the year of the moon landing and Sharon Tate ritual, Kirk Kerkorian buys movie studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), mainly known for its adaptation of the Wizard of Oz, Stanley Kubrick's pedophile movie Lolita and 2001 ASO. He appoints James Aubrey (Philips Exeter, producer at CBS of Gilligan's Island and Beverly Hillbillies under William Paley) as president, married to actress Phyllis Thaxter. Aubrey replaced Edgar Bronfman.

1975 Frank Rosenthal (Hungarian/Bohemian family of rosicrucians) works with the Chicago Outfit of the Colonna's and invented sports betting in casino's (mainly on the Superbowl), runs the Stardust on the Las Vegas Strip with Anthony Spilotro as associate.

1976 Quentin Hubbard, son of Ron Hubbard, dies in coma.

1980 85 people die in a fire at the MGM Grand (the Tower card).

1981 Kerkorian buys Hollywood studio United Artists.

1984 Rocky IV finale at the MGM Grand.

1986 Kerkorian sells MGM to Ted Turner and the MGM Grand is renamed Bally's.

1988 Rain Man Tom Cruise Dustin Hoffman.

1989 opening of The Mirage. opening of the Las Vegas Nevada Temple of the Mormon Church by Gordon Hinckley (BSA). Back to the Future II Biff Tannen's Pleasure Paradise (based on Donald Trump) filmed at Plaza Hotel & Casino.

1990 opening of Luxor pyramid, Excalibur (King Arthur, castle programming) and Mandala Bay (poem of Rudyard Kipling).

1992 Honeymoon in Las Vegas Nicolas Cage.

1993 Steve Wynn opens Treasure Island in Paradise Nevada (with S&B logo). Mystère (one eye logo) show of Cirque du Soleil.

Kerkorian sells the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino to Donald Trump's business partner Phil Ruffin.
