Lebanon

Lebanon is an Islamic country, established as a kingdom in 1943. It has a population of 6,8 million people. It is governed by the Jesuits. Its most populous city and capital is Beirut (33d parallel). It was ruled by the Ottoman Empire. It is a member of the United Nations. Its GDP is 134th largest of the world. Lbn: white (moon, mountain).

1976 military occupation by Syria.

1982 assassination of jesuit Bachir Gemayel (son of jesuit Pierre Gemayel), replaced by jesuit Amine Gemayel.

1989 assassination of jesuit René Moeawad (11/22 like JFK). Jesuit Taha Mikati founds Investcom.

1993 jesuit Riad Salameh (IMF) as president of Banque du Liban.

1996 jesuit Carlos Ghosn as CEO of Renault.

1999 Abu Musab al-Zarkawi (Al Quaeda of Osama Bin Laden) founds Islamic State (IS or Isis, Egyptian goddess associated with Sirius).
