Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) was a Presbyterian freemason and propaganda writer used in program Modernism. He was a resident of Greenwich Village and Chelsea Hotel and member of the American Society for Psychical Research with William James (Theosophical Society, friend of Jung and Freud), and G. Stanley Hall (American Psychological Association, classmate of Elihu Root). He was a friend of Nikola Tesla, Theosophist Thomas Edison, Christian minister George McDonald (mentor of Lewis Carroll) and James Bowman (founder of the Bohemian Club, newspaper The Chronicle). He was also a friend of the parents of Max and Crystal Eastman (ACLU). He met with Maxim Gorky. |

He worked for the Hannibal Journal of his brother Orion Clemens. He was funded by Henry Rogers of Standard Oil (Pluto: oil).
He was vice-president of the American Anti-Imperialist League with Andrew Carnegie, John Dewey, William James, Samuel Gompers (Labor movement), Jane Addams (ACLU).
He lectured at Princeton University.
He was a member of Yale's Scroll and Key and of the Cosmos Club with Alexander Graham Bell (National Geographic) and later Vannevar Bush, presidents Herbert Hoover, Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt, Robert Lowell, Rudyard Kipling, Walter Lippmann, Carl Sagan, the presidents of University of California and Columbia University.
He wrote The Crime of Congo (about Leopold II), The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and A Yankee in the Court of King Arthur (Orion symbolism, theme of time travel). He helped spreading rumors Francis Bacon was the real William Shakespeare.
In 1896 he wrote Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc.
John Carradine (OTO) played in The Adventures of Mark Twain (1944, Warner Bros) with Frederic March as Twain. Val Kilmer played Twain in Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. William Shatner played Twain in Murdoch Mysteries.
In 1978 A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court was released with Paul Rudd and Roscoe Lee Browne.
Jason Robards played Twain in Disney film Mark Twain and Me. A robot of Mark Twain is used in The American Adventure at Epcot of Disney World in Florida.
His daughter Clare Clemens was used to promote yoga guru Paramahansa Yogananda.
