Nigeria

Nigeria is a country in Africa, founded in 1960, after independence from the UK, with a population of 216 million people (majority of Muslims and Christians) and Abuja as capital and Lagos largest city. It is a member of the United Nations and OPEC. It is ruled by the Jesuits.

It has the 25th largest GDP in the world (largest of Africa). Its population mainly consists of Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo.

1966 coup d'état by Yakubu Gowon.

2010 Akinwumi Adesina (Rockefeller Foundation fellowship, UN) as Minister of Agriculture.
