Phi
Phi is the 21st letter in the Greek alphabet of 24 letters (derived from the Phoenician alphabet) with a line piercing a circle as symbol, that represents the Golden Ratio (1: 1,618), the way nature creates, visible in faces, ears, fingers, nautilius shells, waves, hurricanes, sunflowers, artichokes, pinecones, 5 pointed star, .. 1,618=Isis. Phi became f. In mathematics Phi is an irrational number like Pi (3,14). | ![]() |
The ratio was used in the pyramids, statues in whirling (serpentine) pose by the Greeks and by artists of the so called Renaissance.
It was described in Euclid's Elements.
In 1202 Leonardo of Pisa (Fibonacci) introduced Indian, Greek and Arab knowledge of algebra in Europe and described the Fibonacci sequence in Liber Abaci.
Sacred geometry is used as an artificial overlay of the God matrix to imitate nature in temples (Parthenon, Kabaa in Mecca), cathedrals, energy centers, corporation logo's (Pepsi, Carhartt, Apple,..)..
Physics= phi of Isis. Humans are a fractal of the universe ('As Above So Below'). The physical body has the ratio of the macrocosm. Phila= love => philo-sophia (wire that connects humans to gnostic goddess Sophia=Wisdom), philadelphia ('brotherly love', sodomy), philharmonic orchestra, philippos (horse lover).
The golden ratio curl is used in the 2nd degree (Fellow Craft) of freemasonry (the golden ratio curl represents the inward path, 2 pillars of Temple of Solomon that represent the 2 hemispheres that have to be synced).
The ratio of the sun and the moon is the golden ratio.
It is the symbol of electric and magnetic flux (an electromagnetic torus field has a phi ratio of 1 to 1,618).
In quantum mechanics (equations like the Schrödinger equation) phi represents a wave function.
In probability theory phi represents the probability density function.
The Fibonacci sequence is a plot element in The Da Vinci Code.
