Reggae

Reggae is a music genre, cultural marxist program and fake anti-establishment movement (used in the Black Church), that originated during the 60's in Jamaica, associated with Rastafarianism (Judaism, worship of marijuana and Ethiopian king Haile Selassie), popularized by the music industry (Studio One Records, Island Records and Bob Marley) promoting cannabis addiction.

History of reggae

1930 rise of the Ras Tafari movement, worship of sun and moon as star Ra and Jah (the God program, masonic god Jahbulon, Babylon as the Devil) and the King of Ethiopia Tafari Makonen (Haile Selassie I) as Christ figure, dread lock hairstyle based on belief in the Bible. Haile =high El like Heil Hitler (game of dialects with the Right Wing Church).

1935 Marcus Garvey moves to London.

1954 Coxsone Dodd sets up the Downbeat Sound System (first DJ's) and works with Prince Buster and Lee Scratch Perry.

1958 Emmanuel Charles Edwards founds the Rastafarian Bobo Ashanti cult, based on the teachings of Leonard Howell and Marcus Garvey, named after the Ashanti tribe in Ghana.

1959 Chris Blackwell, son of Blanche Blackwell who had an affair with MI6 agent Ian Fleming, founds Island Records.

1961 1st single of Prince Buster.

1963 The Skatalites (Studio One Records of Clement Dodd, musicians recruited from the Kingston jazz scene). founding of The Wailers (with Peter Tosh).

1967 1st single of Horace Andy.

1968 Toots and the Maytals single with the word re-ggae. Bob Marley is used to spread the reggae trend in the music industry (Ziggy and Stephen Marley trained by jesuits). Carlton Barrett popularises the one drop rhythm. Vernon Carrington (Ethopian World Federation of Hailie Selassie) founds the Rastafarian subgroup Twelve Tribes of Israel.

1969 Coxsone Dodd releases the 1st single of Burning Spear.

1970s Lee Scratch Perry plays a role in development of dub music. The Harder They Come with Jimmy Cliff, produced by Chris Blackwell (Island Records). Nigerian reggae with Majek Fashek.

1972 Paul Simon (Columbia Records) records a song with the band of Jimmy Cliff. Reggae is promoted on BBC by pedophile John Peel.

1974 Eric Clapton covers Bob Marley's I Shot the Sherrif (marketing to white audiences).

1976 1st single of Israel Vibration, supported by the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

1977 Ska influences the British Punk Rock movement. The Clash releases a cover of Police and Thieves of Junior Murvin. Bob Marley Punky Reggae Party with Timmy Cappello (Tina Turner). Rise of Dancehall (toasting similar to rapping in Hip Hop).

1978 One Love Peace Concert publicity stunt with Bob Marley, Michael Manley (LSE of Fabian Society) and Edward Seaga. Rockers with Burning Spear, Robbie Shakespeare. Steel Pulse single KKK on Island Records.

1979 Serge Gainsbourg Aux Armes Etcetera with Sly and Robbie, Rita Marley and other background singers of The Wailers. Reggae Geel festival in Belgium. founding of VP Records in NY and RAS Records.

1982 Steel Pulse True Democracy Elektra (glorification of Marcus Garvey).

1983 Bob Dylan album Infidels Columbia Records with Sly and Robbie.

1985 Summerjam festival in Germany. The Grammy Awards introduce the category Best Reggae Album.

1986 Burning Spear (phallus) Resistance Heartbeat Records.

1987 murder of Peter Tosh.

1989 Island Records is sold to Polygram of the Bronfmans. Junior Reid One Blood. Spike Lee Do the Right Thing soundtrack with Steel Pulse.

1990 Horace Andy collaborates with Massive Attack. Bobo Ashanti artists Anthony B, Sizzla, Capleton, Turbulence,..

1993 Robert Russell founds the Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay. Steel Pulse performs at the inauguration of jesuit Bill Clinton.

1995 Capleton Prophecy (water sign) Def Jam of Russell Simmons.

2000 Burning Spear receives a Grammy Award. Junior Reid collaborates with the Wu Tang Clan. Sean Paul (Dancehall trend, VP Records) collaborates with Beyoncé. Damian Marley collaborates with Nas.

2007 Shaggy collaborates with Sacha Baron Cohen.

2010 Disney Reggae Club compliation with Cedella Marley.

2011 BBC documentary Reggae Got Soul: the Story of Toots and the Maytals.

2013 the Ras Tafari movement is promoted by Snoop Dogg and Vice.
