Universal Music Group is a propaganda office in the music industry of the Saturn cult, owned by NBC/Universal, Comcast, in alliance with Universal Pictures.

History of UMG

1912 Carl Laemmle, Pat Powers (Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoons), and Charles Baumann (Charlie Chaplin movies) found Universal Pictures.

1924 Jules Stein (married to Doris Oppenheimer) founds Music Corporation of America (MCA), profits from the jazz scene in speakeasies during Prohibition as a friend of Al Capone.

1929 Edward Lewis founds Decca Records.

1939 US branch of Decca Records. MCA becomes the leading talent agency in Hollywood (Frank Sinatra, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Greta Garbo, ..).

1945 MCA Nashville (country music).

1962 MCA merges with Decca US.

1964 Decca releases debut album of The Rolling Stones, produced by Andrew Loog Oldham.

1972 The Grammophon-Philips Group (GPG) is reorganized as Polygram, owns Verve Records (Nina Simone, Velvet Underground) and Casablanca (Cher, Kiss).

1983 Irving Azoff as chairman of MCA.

1989 Polygram buys Island Records of Chris Blackwell (Bob Marley).

1990 Japanese company Matushita Electric buys MCA.

1991 Interscope Records of Jimmy Iovine and Ted Field (producer of Disney movies, descendant of Marshall Field who founded the University of Chicago with John Rockefeller, and co-founded the Federal Reserve) introduces the cultural marxist program Gangster Rap (program Hip Hop).

1995 Seagram of the Canadian Bronfman family buys 80% of MCA. Doug Morris (Zeta Beta Tau) as CEO of MCA. Polygram buys ICT Entertainment of Lew Grade.

1997 Erykah Badu Baduism (Neo Soul trend).

1998 Polygram (who bought Motown Records in 1993) is bought by Seagram (Edgar Bronfman jr), merges with MCA into the Universal Music Group. Universal buys Interscope, Def Jam of Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin, Cash Money Records and Roadrunner Records (Monte Conner CCNY).

1999 Jimmy Iovine as chairman of Interscope-Geffen-A&M.

2000 Universal Music Group merges with Vivendi, owned by Boloré (Vincent Bolloré), BlackRock, Societé Génerale. Vincent Boloré is a member of ERT, friend of Nicolas Sarkozy, worked for Rothschild and is related to Nicole von Goldsmith. Yannick Boloré is a member of Le Siècle and WEF.

2020 Tencent buys 10% of Vivendi's stake in UMG. license deal with Spotify.
